FCS Healthcare Services is a division of Family and Children’s Service, the oldest and largest nonprofit social services agency in Monmouth County.

FCS is dedicated to making sure families have access to goods and services they need to improve their lives. That has been the organization’s mission since 1909.

In that year, several Long Branch residents joined together to provide holiday gifts and basic necessities to neighbors. They loaded a carriage with food, blankets, tools, clothes and toys. They delivered hope for a new beginning to families throughout the city. When the carriage was empty, they started again.

That tradition of service lives at FCS today and has kept the organization at the forefront of delivering innovative programs and services to the community.
